Submission Guidelines
Submissions to Issue Three: Summer of Whimsy closed on April 28th 2026.
Submissions to our fourth issue will open sometime in autumn of 2026
You can follow our Instagram: @raspberrylitmag

to be notified when submissions open again.
The submissions we want fall into these five categories:
The Window into the Issue:
We look for one poem of 20 lines or less to be published as an epigraph at the beginning of each issue. The selected poem will speak to the themes of the other pieces in the issue, offering readers a view into what will come.
Flash Fiction:
We’re looking for the view out of your window, whether that be about your garden, a sprawling labyrinth, or an alternate universe. We ask you to limit your flash fiction to 500 words or less.
Short Fiction:
Send us your fiction! We ask you to limit your short fiction to 1500 words or less.
Fireside Stories:
We’re looking for your nostalgic and cozy stories. Give us something to read as we sit around a camp fire toasting marshmallows. We ask you to limit your story to 1000 words or less.
Creative Nonfiction:
Send us a memoir, a travel journal, a personal essay! We ask you to limit your piece to 1500 words or less.
Editorial Policy:
Our team of editors will work with contributors to refine each accepted piece. We also reserve the right to copyedit for space and clarity.
Note:
As we are a free, digital magazine, accepted stories will not be paid.
